Kids Klubs is a well-established childcare service that has been run by a dedicated and highly qualified team since 1989. We have branches in Bayside, Dublin 13, and Kells, County Meath.
"We aim to achieve a high standard of quality childcare. We continually strive to nurture, foster independence and confidence in your child."
At Kids Klubs we offer an enjoyable place where your child will discover their own potential, under the guidance of qualified and experienced childcare workers. We provide :
- A safe and secure environment that is stimulating and challenging for children at every stage of their developement.
- A planned curriculum with flexibility to respond to the childs independent needs.
- A written policies and procedures for the day to day running of each of our facilities.
At Kids Klubs there will always be a warm and genuine welcome for your child by our friendly and attentive staff. We offer a structured curriculum that includes physical activity, play, quiet time, group and independent activities, creative activities, positive mealtimes, snacks and free play. We place high value on the children from all age groups.
"We challenge each child through stimulating environments and experiences."
When deciding if our facility is the best for your child, parents/ guardians would arrange a viewing. This is an informal meeting, where you can take a look around the premises and we will talk you through a typical day, for your child when in our care. This also gives you the chance to see first hand, the interaction between the staff and the children.
Staff at Kids Klubs :
Kids Klubs is proud to have on board a dedicated team, of varying experience, and personalities. The staff are highly qualified in the area of Early Education and Care, and are continually supported both in time and finances, to further grow their education. Many of the team across the three branches hold a Fetac Level 8, with many returning to education in recent years to upskill, as childcare in Ireland has undergone a drastic change in the last decade.
One area of training that is vital for staff at Kids Klubs is that of Paediatric First Aid. We ensure this training is kept fully up to date with many staff across the branches holding a full QQI Occupational and Paediatric Award in First Aid. We also ensure that the majority of the team has Child Protection Training, Manual Handling, Fire Safety, and the appropriate Food Handling Certificates.
Kids Klubs Management Team :
Each premise has a Management Team to assist you with any questions or support you may need, and are fortunate to have long standing managers - some who have been committed to Kids Klubs as far back as 1999!!
What is play?
The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (1989) has recognised play as a fundamental right to a child’s development. It is the child’s way of understanding the world around them, and extensive research shows that play is vital for healthy brain development. This brain development is at its peak during the first five years of life.Read More
What is Aístear?
Aístear is the Irish word for journey, and forms the curriculum framework for children from birth to six years old. At Kids Klubs, we show evidence of Aistear’s aims and learning goals, through regular observations, which detail your child’s learning and what we will do next to support their growth, through individual learning journals and scrapbooks, and monthly planning based on the interests of the children.
